Program Description: Students immerse themselves in a virtual company (Central Products), interact with colleagues online, and learn by doing within dynamic, realistic business world scenarios. The goal is to not only make learning engaging and relevant, but to make it "sticky" as well. As students progress through the Immersion MBA, they create "real history," enabling them to later draw from the virtual experience to make better decisions and positive contributions within their workplace. They work individually and in teams and are supported by faculty mentors and practitioner mentors who will guide and assist them as they progress. Students' coursework also includes career counseling content that will guide them through self-assessment exercises and practical career advice. Accreditation: Lake Forest Graduate School of Management is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (HLC), North Central Association. This is one of six regional accrediting bodies for higher education in the United States and is recognized by the US Department of Education. The School participates in the HLC's Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP), a continuous improvement process, to maintain accreditation. This is a voluntary, rigorous program modeled after well-known state and national quality programs.
