Program Description: At BPS, we research biological mechanisms and chemical processes to develop solutions that will improve human health. This research will determine new therapeutic targets (pharmacology), explain how a drug is metabolized and excreted (pharmacokinetics), explain how individuals are different in their drug reactions (pharmacogenomics), and develop novel methods for delivering drugs (pharmaceutics).
