Review: The University of North Texas (often referred to as UNT or North Texas) is a four-year state university located in Denton, Texas. Founded in 1890, it is the flagship institution of the University of North Texas System. With an enrollment of over 35,000 students, UNT is the fourth-largest university in Texas. The university is a member of the Federation of North Texas Area Universities, offering various graduate degrees in coordination with Texas Woman's University and Texas A&M University-Commerce. The university is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
