Program Description: The Master's degree requires a minimum of five regular lecture courses. Course offerings include advanced courses in each of the core disciplines: analytical, inorganic, organic, physical, and in the specialty areas of polymers (2), biochemistry (2), and radiochemistry (1). Two courses are offered which are restricted to graduate students: organic spectroscopy and organic synthesis. Many take advantage of courses in related fields, especially biology, applied science, and marine science.
