Message: Such a beautiful space! Lots of work and new business here that has transformed this once college into a community foundation for several services. I was lucky enough to be apart of the Pure Heart Foundation wellness program for the scholars. Much gratitude for the wheels that keep this place turning.

Message: The conservancy is doing a great job of revamping the buildings and in creating an environment which allows children to advance in their educational journey. I work for Detroit Institute For Children and we have a center, in the old Student Center, helping children with special needs and their families.

Message: I attended a meeting at Marygrove College and learned all about their revitalization of the campus.. The buildings were constructed in the 1920’s. They had fallen into disuse over the past decade.. At this time they are being remodeled and repaired. A college will begin operation in the main building shortly and in some cases is already in operation.. Over the next two years an elementary school with attached high school will start to operate in one of the buildings. At this time of year the grounds look sparse and bare. I am looking forward to the spring and will return to look at it at that time.. The woodwork in the building is still intact. There are many religious artifacts and statues of great beauty. The classrooms are large and have plenty of natural lighting.. The telecommunications system is due to be updated.. The people that work here are professional, interested, intelligent and kind. I was especially happy to tour their beautiful library. I will need to return when the sun is out and the windows are all open. It is going to be a beautiful teaching college.
